Development consisting of laying an underground 38kV Electricity cable and associated ducting and ancillary development primarily within the public road to facilitate the connection of the permitted Derrysallagh Wind Farm within the townlands of Derrysallagh and Glen, Co Sligo (Sligo County Council Planning Reference PL12/133) to the National electricity grid via the existing Garvagh 110 kV substation in the townland of Seltan, County Leitrim. Part of this development is in place and subject to a pending application for Substitute Consent to An Bord Pleanala (Ref: ABP-300811- 18). The proposed development within the jurisdiction of County Sligo for which Permission is sought includes the following: Installation of approximately 0.69 km of underground cable ducting, 2 No. joint bays and ancillary development laid primarily within the public road corridor with a section of ducting to be installed within a steel box structure to be fixed to Boleymaguire Bridge within the townlands of Carrowcashel, Co Sligo and Boleymaguire, Co Leitrim. Within the townlands of Tullynure and Carrowcashel, permission is sought for the carrying out of remedial works to approximately 1.28km of the installed underground cable ducting which is subject to a pending application for Substitute Consent to An Bord Pleanala (Ref: ABP-300811-18). Remedial works include the relaying of backfill material. Permission is also sought for the installation of the electricity cable following completion of the civil works. This application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) / Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

development consisting of (i) retention of a meteorological mast, with an overall height of 31 metres, supported by guy wires for the purpose of measuring and recording meterological data, (ii) concrete mast foundation and anchors; (iii) approximately 40m of underground electricity and telecommunications cabling; and (iv) all associated site development and reinstatement works

Knockroe (Ballynashee ED) , Co. Sligo

for development consisting of retention of infrastructure. The elements are to be retained for the lifetime of the wind farm. The development consists of blade delivery trestles constructed at the turbine crane hardstands required for the set down and storage of turbine blades at each location, passing bays required for vehicles to pass each other on-site and upgrade and use of 154m of pre-existing tract between Turbines T9 and T10. The retention of these structures is required for continued maintenance of turbines on site.
