The development includes construction of an extended access road, new tank structures comprising: 2 Thickening Tanks, a Sludge Blend Tank, 2 Sludge Silos, a Thickened Sludge Balance Tank, 3 Combined Washwater Balance/Settlement Tanks (or alternative arrangement of 2 separate Washwater Balance Tanks and 2 separate settlement tanks). The development also includes a Control/sludge treatment building, buried pipework, and all associated ancillary works on the site. Existing temporary sludge facilities on site, comprising 2 tanks, a lagoon and ancillary plant, will also be decommissioned and demolished.
