The proposed works are within the curtilage of Protected Structures and are within Architectural Conservation Area No. 4 Fair St and adjacent to Architectural Conservation Area No. 1 Bolton Square as designated in the Drogheda Borough Council Development Plan 2011-2017 (extended), and within zone of archaeological potential. Protected structures across the wider site are: 52-53 Fair Street (DB069a); 54 Fair Street (DB069b); 55-56 Fair Street (DB082); Former Sisters of Charity House (DB086). The amendments comprise the inclusion of an ESB Substation & LV Switchroom at ground floor level within the permitted service area yard and all associated site development works.
