A new Community Garden at Newtown adjacent to Corofin Union Workhouse with new planting and enhanced public realm.; The subject works are partially located within the Corofin Architectural Conservation Area. Corofin Union Workhouse is a protected Structure, Record of Protected Structures, RPS ID: 434 (Clare County Development Plan). In accordance with the Habitats Directive, an Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening has been carried out in respect of the proposed works. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening determination has been made and concludes that there is no likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed works
