The clay pit is sought to a maximum depth of c.14 metres OD. It is proposed to extract the material from this area in accordance with the previous permission (Reg. Ref. 00/1655) with an output rate of 50,000 tonnes per annum. Progressive restoration of the quarry void will also occur in line with the previous permission.
