Tipperary to be facilitated by the partial demolition of the party wall separating the AIB curtilage from the existing public carpark and creation of a controlled (barriered) vehicular entrance. Landscaping and public realm upgrades, site services including drainage infrastructure, and all associated ancillary development works are also proposed. Part of the site is located within the Cashel Town Architectural Conservation Area. The works will be carried out within the curtilage of the following 5 structures on the Record of Protected Structures of the Cashel and Environs Development Plan 2009-2015: RPS Ref. 7 (Cashel Town Walls); RPS Ref. 8 (Cashel Palace Hotel); RPS Ref. 80 (Palace School House), RPS Ref. 81 (Cashel Palace Gate Lodge) and RPS Ref. 30 (No. 66 Main Street). No direct works are proposed to many of the listed protected structures with the exception of RPS30
