The windfarm was built in 2008/2009 and commissioned on 6th May 2009. The operating windfarm consists of five (5) wind turbines, an electrical control building and associated hardstanding areas and access roads. The grant of planning was to operate the windfarm for a period of twenty years from the date of commissioning. This application is to operate Rahora Windfarm for a further period.
