for the construction of a conservatory extension to the southwest side of the existing bungalow and for the construction of a detached domestic garage to the northeast side of the bungalow. The construction of a new detached domestic garage to the northeast side of the house. The site drops away 0.8m. so the garage will be 0.8 m taller than the house so that the roof and ridge lines will exactly match the house. The size of the garage is such that the roof pitch and hip angles also match the house as does the construction and finish, thereby maintaining an aesthetically pleasing look to the development. Also the construction of a conservatory extension to the southwest side of the house. The conservatory will consist of a low ( approximately 600mm. high ) wall with windows above extending up to soffit level. This will match the two bay window at the front of the property and create a harmonious look. A pair of French doors will open from the middle of the long side onto a landscaped patio area. The roof is a seamless extension of the existing roof maintaining the same ridge line, facia and gutters. As part of a vacant homes project, the house urgently had to have the entire roof replaced and therefore the extension to the roof was done at the same time. This was done after consultation with the Area planner on the 27th of September last year
