(1) Change of use of existing derelict building from the previous use of Fire Statoin to proposed use as a Youth and Community Resource Centre. (2) The proposed building will provide the following facilities: A. Multi purpose main hall, reception, 2 no. meeting rooms along with ancillary toilets and storage, landscaped rear outdoor space to the western elevation, all at ground floor level and all accessed via a new entrance foyer on the eastern elevation off the Mill Road. The provision of a single storey extension on the western elevation for meeting room/cafe space. B. New youth resource/multi purpose spcae, the provision of a single storey extension on the western elevation for use as a youth worker office, ancillary toilets and storage at ground floor level with landscaped rear outdoor space to the western elevation, a new music room at first floor level, new escape door at ground floor level onto eastern elevation. The new youth resource/multi purpose space will be accessed via an alternative and secure pedestrian access, also on the eastern elevation off the Mill Road. C. General revisions and alterations to the external elevations to accomodate the aforementioned including the introduction of external rendered insulation, revised window and door openings and fenestration and the replacement of the existing roof with raised seam cladding. 3. The provision of 16 no. car parking spaces along the northern boundary with new and revised access from Mill Road, including revised public footpath arrangements. 4. The provision of flood defense wall along the western and northern boundaries and all other site development works including drainage, signage and landscaping.
