Permission for development which consists of: We, Crown Square Developments Ltd., intend to apply to Galway City Council for permission for a Mixed-use Development within Block A and Block H2 (c. 20,152 sqm. Gross Internal Area), at Crown Square, located at the junction of Monivea Road and Joyces Road, Galway, Co. Galway. 1. The proposed development for Block A (across a Gross Internal area of c. 19,840 sq. m.) will consist of the following: a. Provision of two levels of retail and commercial units at ground floor and mezzanine level, including a conference centre with associated amenities, gym and retail units. b. Construction of 60 no. apart hotel units from mezzanine to second floor. c. Construction of 129 no. residential units from third to eighth floor comprising of: (i) 67 no. One-Bedroom Apartment. (ii) 62 no. Two Bed-Four Persons Apartment. d. Provision of public open space, communal open space, private open space, car and bicycle parking, bin storage, site landscaping and public lighting. e. Provision of pedestrian and cyclist access onto the Joyce’s Road (L5034) and Monivea Road (R339). 2. The proposed development for Block H2 (Gross Internal Area of c. 312 sq. m.) will consist of: a. Change of use of the permitted Gym (c. 312 sq. m.) to a creche facility with associated external play zone to serve the proposed Block A development. b. Provision of a new linear drop off zone in front of the proposed creche 3. Provision of all associated surface water, watermain and foul water drainage services and connections (including nature-based drainage solutions), and all associated site works and ancillary services necessary to facilitate the proposed development.
