for development at Dromoland Castle and Estate, Dromoland, Newmarket-on-Fergus Co Clare (Dromoland Castle is a protected structure RPS No: 278).This planning application relates to the farmyard. The development will consist of amendments to a permitted development (CCC Reg. Ref. P25-60818), comprising: the omission of the previously permitted change of use, modification (including areas of demolition) and extension of the existing farmyard buildings and replacement with: A single storey, purpose-built golf maintenance hub (c.1,543 sqm new GFA at c. 6.7 m max. height) to the north-west of the existing farmyard buildings, including a new Waste Water Treatment System and percolation area, reconfigurations of the permitted access strategy to provide a second vehicular access from the existing road to the south to serve the farmyard, alterations to staff car parking provision (including additional spaces and associated EV spaces) and associated amendments to hard and soft landscaping, site lighting, bicycle parking, services and all associated development works above and below ground. The red line boundary is also extended to accommodate the revised proposal. The proposed development retains the new deliveries and procurement hub to the east of the existing farmyard, as permitted under CCC Reg. Ref. P25-60818.
