Planning permission is being sought for a 10 year period. The is a separate planning application and associated EIAR on lands enclosed by the data centre application. It is a Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID) application to An Bord Pleanala under S182A of the P&D Act 2000, as amended. The application comprises the construction of a new 220KV substation compound & assoc. underground 220KV cables connecting to the existing substation at Portan, Clonee(consented ABP ref PL17.VA0018). An Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) has been prepared for the proposed development and has been submitted with this application.
