The development consists of a 3 storey commercial element along the Main Street, east of the Gondola Public House: the commercial element consists of (a) a 3 storey public house / restaurant and ancillary uses of 1176sq.m. along the Main Street including car parking to the rear, (b) 3 storey Retail Commercial building of 1150sq.m. at the junction of the Main Street and a new access road and (c) a 4 storey 72 bedroom hotel of 2700sq.m. with commercial leisure, bar / dining and ancillary uses on ground floor: the site has an overall area of 0.94 hectares with access along the eastern boundary of the site from existing entrance to car park on the Main Street. The development includes the demolition of the Gondola Public House and ancillary buildings and includes all infrastructural works including piped and wired services to outfalls as shown together with car parking both on and off street in compliance with the zoning provisions and objectives of the Local Area Plan with future pedestrian and vehicular access allowed to adjoining lands to the south, east and west.
