Proposed Development

A Secondary Pharmaceutical Finishing facility for the manufacture and development of pharmaceutical products consisting of the following: a three storey administration/laboratory building sized 4600sq.m. approximately facing Nangor Road with a height of 15.5m approximately; a single storey production/offices building sized 5000sq.m. approximately principally for packing activities with a height of 8.5m approximately; a four storey tabletting production building sized 8000sq.m. approximately with a height of 25m approximately including its own plant and boiler areas; a single storey combined warehouse, production laboratory, offices and utility building sized 7800sq.m. approximately with a height of 18.5m approximately and a single storey link building sized 900sq.m. approximately with a height of 6m approximately, all on a 20 acre site. The proposed development also includes a single storey security and electrical building, a sprinkler pumphouse and tanks, a single storey drum store, boiler house stacks, roof mounted items of plant and equipment, yard and docking areas; 217 carparking spaces, an internal roads system, surface water attenuation systems and extensive on-site berming and landscape systems. The proposed development has two entrances off the internal Grange Castle site road infrastructure, one main entrance and one emergency entrance and additional security fencing and gates to the rear of the site and replacement fence to Nangor Road and both building and ground mounted signage and flagpoles. Permission is sought to build this facility in modular phases according to need during the ten year permission lifetime sought by this application. An Environmental Impact Statement accompanies this application.
