The current application seeks permission only for that portion of Central Boulevard that lies between the roadside kerbs. The qualitative treatment of footpaths, landscaping and cycleways etc. will be the subject of a future application for planning permission dealing with the development of Central Boulevard as a single entity. Permission is also sought for the provision of bin storage facilities and site development and landscapes works. The subject site is within the curtilage of Airlie House (a protected structure) however no works are proposed to the Protected Structure as part of this application. The planning application is being made in accordance with the provisions of the Adamstown Planning scheme 2003.
