Where the data comes from
Every county, straight from the register its own council keeps: twenty-three through the shared ePlan system, and Cork, Dublin and Wexford through their councils' own planning portals. Both list applications the week they are received.
The national dataset published by the Department of Housing runs one to two weeks behind the councils, so we use it only to fill in behind — catching anything that slipped past while a council register was unreachable. More on our sources.
