The proposed development, will include: 1) Carry out complete alterations and additions to the existing buildings. 2) The change of use of the former Supermacs building to Digital Hub (Office) 3) The change of use of the former Merriman Tavern building to Enterprise Centre/Community Space. 4) Construct a public car park on adjacent green field site and provide pedestrian/vehicular access from the L4024 roadway. 5) Provide pedestrian access to the proposed car park from R352 roadway and the rear boundary wall of the former Merriman Tavern building. 6) Connect to existing onsite services. 7) The installation of associated signage. 8 All ancillary site works. The proposed development includes works to the exterior of a structure which is located within the Scarriff Architectural Conservation Area and the proposed development would materially affect the area concerned. In accordance with the Habitats Directive, an Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the proposed development. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening determination has been made and concludes that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and an EIA is not required.
