The grid connection will be developed from the approved substation through the townlands of Knockeenboy, Kilronane West, Kilronane East, Moreagh, Nedinagh West, Acres and Ballyhalwick townlands. The proposed development is located to the east, south and southwest of Dunmanway, Co. Cork. The planning application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) and by a Natura Impact Statement (NIS).
