Unit 1A Waterfront Business Park Wallingstown Little Island

The development will consist a change of use of the existing building on site from permitted uses of manufacturing/processing and recovery of metals and end of life vehicles and ancillary uses to proposed new uses of warehousing (4,949m²) (including transportation logistics) and ancillary office use (1,030m²). Development will include the demolition of 5 no. ground floor annexes on the eastern and north-western sides of the building comprising a total floor area of 176m². Permission is also sought for an extension on the northern side of the building to accommodate 2 no. new dock levellers, internal modifications to warehousing and ancillary office areas, a reduction in part of overall building height from 17.62m to 13m, elevational alterations and re-cladding of the structure, re-glazing of ancillary office block at the eastern side of the building, reconfiguration of parking layout to now provide a total of 50 no. car parking spaces and 6 no. truck parking spaces, alterations to the existing vehicular access located to the south east of the site and any associated site works and landscaping works.
