Retention of modifications to the existing nursing home and permission for the construction of an extension to the nursing home. The modifications to the nursing home including alterations to the permitted site layout plan and changes to the permitted design. 1. The changes in design consist of: (a) a ground floor boiler room extension with rooftop plant, (b) 2 no. first floor extensions, and (c) elevations changes including (i) modifications to the permitted entrance including a lift core and roof lights, (ii) changes to windows and doors at lower ground floor level, (iii) changes to the eastern and southern elevations. 2. Alterations to the permitted site layout include: 1 no. gas tank cage, 1 no. ESB kiosk, 1 no. water tank, 1 no. underground fire water tank, 1 no. boiler house, 1 no. plant building/store, 1 no. shed. 3. Permission is being sought for the construction of a 3-storey extension, modifications to the facade of the existing nursing home to provide for new balconies at ground and first floor levels, alterations to the existing vehicle entrance, and all associated landscaping and site development works.
