Development will comprise of the following: Construction of a part single/two/three storey post primary school (“Bantry Community College”) for educational purposes, which will accommodate c.700 pupils, comprising 47no. classrooms, special needs unit, library, general purpose/dining/social areas, staff/administration areas, sports hall, store areas, toilets, and all ancillary areas. Total gross floor area c.8,126 sq.m. Building height ranges from c.10m to c. 16.8m: Construction of part single/two storey primary school (“Gaelscoil Bheanntraí”) for educational purposes to accommodate c.186 pupils comprising 8no. classrooms, library, general purposes area, staff/administration areas, store areas, toilets, and all ancillary areas. Total gross floor area c.1,503 sq.m. Building height ranges from c.3.7m to c.9.3m: Provision of playing field, 6no. hard surface play areas, general play areas, 68no. car parking spaces, cycle parking area, bus and car set down areas: Provision of 2no. vehicle accesses with connection to local road and footpaths under construction by the local authority: All landscaping and site boundary treatments with part-culverting and diverting of stream through the site. All ancillary site development works including 1no. substation: Total gross floor area is c.9,629sq.m: This proposed development is to be carried out on behalf of and in partnership with County Cork VEC
