Retention of alterations to development permitted and constructed under planning ref: 13/4025 (the construction of a new industrial unit to accommodate a waste management and environmental services facility for the acceptance, storage and treatment of non-hazardous waste) to include the retention of: (1) revised location of northeast front site entrance with 2.4m high piers and sliding security gate, (2) revised layout of northwest front site entrance, (3) natural stone finish to front boundary wall, (4) revised on site parking layout, (5) revised tank and truck wash unit, (6) 2no. roller shutter doors located on front (north facing) elevation of existing industrial unit, (7) 1 no. fire exist door added and alterations to glazing features on side (west facing) elevation of existing industrial unit with railing constructed along pedestrian footpath, (8) the erection of ESB substation, (9) construction of lean-to electrical building adjoining the rear (south facing) elevation of existing industrial unit, and Permission for the construction of: (1) a new solid fence 2.2m high inside existing 2.4m high palisade fencing along east facing site boundary, (2) a new boiler house, (3) new signage on east and west facing side elevations of existing industrial unit, (4) new signage and architectural feature to be located at west front site entrance, (5) new signage to be located along west facing site boundary to serve parking area, and (6) new 1.1m high railing to be constructed along existing retaining wall located at southeast corner of site and all associated site works

The development will consist of:- (A) The retention of permission for (i) the use of part of the former industrial premises for the sale and storage of re-usable metal materials and (ii) a portacabin for ancillary office use; and (B) Permission for (i) the use of the premises for the recovery of End-of-Life Vehicles [ELVs] and ferrous and non-ferrous metals, (ii) internal and external storage of metals, (iii) depollution of ELVs, (iv) segregation, cutting and baling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, (v) a new internal office, (vi) a 2 metre high palisade fence on the eastern boundary and (vii) all site development works including hard surfacing and surface water drainage
