Proposed Development

Construct extension to the Tesco Ireland Ltd supermarket at Mill Road. The proposed development allows for the cosntrudction of an extension to the store allowing for relocation of the store entrance and signage, rearrangement of the internal retail sales floorspace (to allow for an increase to the non food sales area), the construction of a new mezzanine back of house upper floor extension and the conversion of the former ground floor staff areas to food sales. Ancillary alterations to the back of house areas service yards, additional level to the roof to the rear and set down areas are also proposed as part of the development. The proposal allows for a total gross floor area increase of 1282.5m2. The revised floorspace layout will continue to allow for the sales of wine, alcohol, spirits and beer for consumption off the premises.
