The development will consist of permission for amendments to previously granted planning permission Ref. No. 21/4071 at Kings Square/Baldwin Street, Brigown, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, within the curtilage of a Protected Structure (RPS No. 01354). The proposed amendments will consist of: (a) The change of use at Lower Ground Floor level from office accommodation to 3 no. residential units (including 1 no. duplex unit) (b) The reconfiguration of permitted residential units at Ground and First Floor levels, from a previously permitted arrangement of 2 no. duplex units and 3 no. apartments, to provide 3 no. residential units on each floor (c) Internal reconfiguration works including alterations to floor layouts to facilitate the proposed residential units, the closure of existing door openings, and the formation of new door openings through existing walls (d) The removal of existing external steel fire escape stairs to the rear of the building (e) The installation of an Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) over the existing stairwell at the rear of the building (f) The repair and refurbishment of the existing roof and all external façades, and making good of all associated building fabric (g) All ancillary and associated site development works All works are proposed within the curtilage of a Protected Structure (RPS No. 01354).
