All for a period of 10 years and within an application area of 5.25 hectares.

Permission for • Retention of previously excavated pit floors and faces within approximately 1.2 hectares of the existing sand-and-gravel pit, where average excavation depths exceeded the permitted levels by approximately 4-5 metres (within a maximum differential of c. 8 metres in localised areas) below the levels shown on the drawings approved under Plan File ref. No. 08/6662 & ABP Ref. PL 04.232102. These areas have since been infilled using on-site material to return them to the permitted levels and are now to be fully restored to agricultural use, with no further extraction proposed within them; • Retention and continue use of the existing historic site access; • Permission for : Recommencement of extraction within the remaining previously authorised sand and gravel resources over c. 2.4 ha (excluding the retained/restored areas), at a rate of approximately 50,000-60,000 tonnes per annum. Extraction will be carried out on a dry-working basis only, with no requirement for dewatering; Recommencement and continued use of the existing aggregate processing plant and associated closed-circuit water settlement lagoons; Restoration of all worked areas to agricultural use through biodiversity-led measures. All for a period of 10years and within an application area of 6.2 hectres.
