The proposed development will also include a customer substation which is proposed to relocate the substation consented within the associated solar farm development (PA Ref: 175498). The ESBN MV customer substation is to be located near the site entrance to the east, to align with the connection route to the national grid. Based on new ESB Networks design standards, two options have been considered for the design of the proposed substation. A Natura Impact Statement will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.
