Proposed Development

1)Permission for construction of a) a new single-storey extension to the existing community hospital consisting of 31 no. single residents bedrooms with en-suite, treatment room, sitting room, dining room, relative’s family room with en-suite, visitors room, nurses station, toilets, store rooms and other associated ancillary accommodation, b) a new single-storey extension to the existing community hospital consisting 1 no. dirty laundry store, c) a new single-storey extension, to the existing community hospital consisting of a dry goods store room and kitchen staff shower and WC; 2) Permission is also sought for a) internal alterations and elevational treatments to the existing community hospital b) replacement of main entrance access ramp; 3) Permission for the demolition of a) 1 no. single-storey accommodation extension to the existing community hospital, b) 1 no. two storey ‘Ambulance Base’ building and associated gas tank, concrete bund, lean-to ambulance parking bay, 2 no. ambulance charging points, gas bottle store and clinical store located to the east of the existing community hospital, c) 1 no. prefabricated store building located to the east of the existing hospital; 4) Permission for the removal of existing trees to suit new site layout; 5) Permission for altered entrance to provide new pedestrian link to the public footpath; 6) Permission is also sought for the provision a)1 no. external waste management enclosure, b) 2 no. semi mounted LPG tanks, c) 0.5m high gas dispersion wall, d) under-ground attenuation tank, e) 2.1m high powder coated steel fence enclosure containing new oil tank and generator with associated concrete plinth, f) 3 no. air to water heat pumps, g) ESB Unit Sub, h) site lighting, i) reconfiguring of existing service road to suit new layout, j) general upgrade of landscaped areas including the provision of a landscaped outdoor amenity ‘wandering route’ pathway and reconfiguring and extending of car parking facilities, along will all associated ancillary site services
