The development will consist of modifications to the approved elevations as follows: (i) Relocation of proposed front door to approved Street Level entrance hall from South West side to North West side facing into existing car park. (ii) Conversion of North East facing windows in the approved First Floor Level to sloping glazing falling into lower roof, such that the proposed sloping glazing is not visible in the Protected View from The Ramparts street. (iii) Omission of North East facing bedroom window and changing the North East facing double doors to single door, both on North Western side of Ground Floor. (iv) Omission of Office window in approved North West elevation at Ground Floor. (v) Increase size of single window and extending approved floor to ceiling glazing to include curved corner window on North East facing elevation of Ground Floor. (vi) Extending approved floor to ceiling glazing at East corner of South East facing elevation to seven meters in the South West direction to include curved corner window, and changing the three approved separate windows to one smaller bathroom window on the South East facing elevation, all at Ground Floor. (vii) Changing the two approved corner windows on East corner to include curved glazing at that corner on Ground Floor Level at First Floor Level. (viii) Adding a third bedroom window to South East side at Ground Floor. (ix) Changing the three approved windows on South West side facing blank stone retaining wall to four small bathroom vent windows (unseen). Together with the following two other changes: (x) Extending the approved Street Level entrance hall South Westwards by four square metres to include a lift in order to comply with Part M of the Building regulations, extending the approved First Floor level by eleven square metres increase in floor area and four square meters for lift, and extending the approved Ground Floor Level South-Westwards towards stone retaining wall (unseen) by four square metres for lift and twenty seven square metres to match First Floor. (xi) Changes to the internal plans involving re-arrangement of accommodations. None of the proposed changes will traverse the putative sight line of the Protected View nor impede that view. It is proposed to retain the approved green roof and the approved exterior finishes.
