The proposed development will consist of (1) The change of use from office use to canteen use, required to extend the seating area in the existing staff canteen at first floor level in the Cheese Production Facility, (2) Refurbishment and alteration to layout of the existing Canteen Facilities including Toilets and Staff Facilities, (3) The Change of Use from Industrial Use (disused Cheese Production Area) to Office Use for part of the second floor (currently disused), (4) The construction of a Enclosed Link Bridge/Corridor between the southern elevation of the Main Production/Office Building and the northern elevation of the existing Canteen Building, (5) Removal of existing single skin cladding enclosing the existing Fire Escape Stairs on the Southern Elevation of the Main Office/Production Building and replacing same with insulated cladding with integrated windows, (6) Alterations to the existing southern elevation of the Main Production/Office Building including the closing up of existing windows, the formation of new windows including the formation of a new viewing window at second floor level in the new Office Area and all Associated Works required to integrate the proposed works with the existing facilities in the Cheese Production and Office Building.

The proposed development will consist of the (1) Change of use from Industrial Use (disused cheese production area) for use as a New Laboratory/Testing Facility including ancillary sample management and storage areas, staff changing rooms and sanitary facilities, offices and meeting room on part of the first floor (currently disused) of a 3-storey building. (2) Alterations to the existing south and east elevations of the building including the formation of new window and door opes ancillary to the new laboratory/testing facility. (3) Change of use from industrial use (disused cheese production area) for use as a plant room/services area on part of the second floor (currently disused) for use ancillary to the new laboratory/testing facility at first floor level. (4) Construction of a new internal staircore to service the 3 floor levels of the building, and (5) All associated works required to integrate the proposed works with the existing facilities in the 3-storey building. This application relates to a development which comprises of an activity requiring an Industrial Emissions licence (Reg. No. 00404-02).
