Proposed Development

We, Holy Trinity Indian Orthodox Church, wish to apply for full planning permission for proposed development works at existing former West County Hotel (currently vacant), located at Agharinagh Lower, Dripsey, Co. Cork. Proposed works to include; 1) the change of use from hotel/B&B to religious use to provide new Christian Religious Centre with alterations to the existing building to provide 1 no. 1 bedroom apartment at first floor level for priest accommodation, and all ancillary areas associated with the religious facility; 2) construction of part 2-storey and part single-storey extensions to sides and rear, and alterations to the existing elevations; 3) decommissioning of existing septic tank and installation of new wastewater treatment system to serve new proposed religious centre 4) proposed relocation of existing site entrance and alterations to existing front boundary ; 5) provision of new car parking areas and new bicycle shelter on site; 6) decommissioning of 2no. disused existing fuel pumps and all associated underground fuel storage tanks and drainage works; 7) demolition of existing outbuildings on site; and 8) all associated site ancillary works including new signage on site, landscaping works, boundary treatments and drainage works.
