The proposed development will consist of the following: • Refurbishment of Hatch Hall and its change of use from residential institutional use to hotel use. The proposed hotel development includes 2 no. bars, lounge and hotel shop. The conversion of the former chapel building to meeting room/restaurant. The proposal involves alteration and conservation works to the existing fabric including amendments to the internal layout of the building, including the removal of internal partitions and screens to provide for bedrooms and the addition of a lift core. On the southern and eastern sides of the internal courtyard, a single storey glazed extension shall wrap around the protected structure, adjacent to the outdoor terrace. Opes shall be created at the southern side of Hatch Lane at first floor level (internal to the courtyard) to provide access to ground floor roof level for use as terrace.
