PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The development will consist of work to a protected structure, the T.C.D. Arts Building, reference 2006 on the Record of Protected Structures. Proposals consist of: The installation of movable oak clad kiosks at level 2 concourse area, outside the Robert Emmett Theatre, to include: two large kiosks (2m W x 3m L x 2.5m H) and six small kiosks (1m W x 2m L x 1m H) to house multiple student and college related functions including: clubs and societies information, charity events and sales, study groups and conference registration during the college term and ancillary retail use (TCD merchandise) over summer months. The total overall footprint of kiosks when all in use will be 24m2.

We, Trinity College Dublin (c/o the Estate's and Facilities Directorate, 152 Pearse Street, Dublin 2), intend to apply for planning permission for development at the Arts Building (a Protected Structure Ref No. 2006) in Fellows Square located within the campus of Trinity College Dublin, Dublin 2, adjacent to Nassau Street. The proposed development consists of the following: Replacement of existing glazing at lower ground and upper ground floors to North side of building (Fellows Square side) as follows: a. Inclined single-glazed glazing over these floors is replaced with triple glazing to match the existing glazing appearance. b. Areas of single-glazed vertical glazing to gable ends, inset bay and below eaves gutter is replaced with triple glazing to match the existing glazing appearance. c. Perimeter flashings at the affected glazing are replaced with insulated flashings to match the existing flashing's appearance.
