CHANGE OF USE: Development consisting of: 1) The change of use of the existing first-floor and part of the ground floor of Block K Lansdowne Gate from a gym / fitness centre (area totalling c.876 sqm) to a family hub. 2) Altered internal layout to provide the following: The first floor (area totalling c.645 sqm) will provide the 15 family accommodation units and separate facilities for toddlers, teenagers, families & storage, while the ground floor (area totalling c. 231 sqm) will provide facilities for cooking, dining, laundry, storage, counselling, reception and staff. 3) Alterations to the external elevations to remove large areas of curtain wall glazing and replace them with new windows in new masonry and stonework to match the existing materials of the building. 4) A proposed 52m2 new plant room is to be provided on the roof along with 54m2 of solar panels on the existing flat roof. 5) 11 Dedicated car parking spaces to be provided in the existing adjacent roadside car parking areas close to the building along with bicycle parking for 26 bicycles with bicycle shelters being provided for 18 of these bicycle spaces. 6) Alterations to the retaining wall at the rear of the building to provide a dedicated bin storage area and all associated site works, all at Block K, Lansdowne Gate, Lansdowne Valley, Long Mile Road, Dublin 12.
