The proposed development will consist of the construction of a prefabricated aluminium frame and fabric tensile envelope with independently constructed facilities building within the envelope and will include the following: 1. Provision of a 35 x 25m competition standard swimming pool with adjustable floor (max depth 2m); 2. Provision of plant area at basement level (495 sq.m.); 5. Provision of a coffee dock at ground floor level (85 sq. m.); 6. The provision of new vehicular and pedestrian access from Altán Road along with the provision of upgraded cycle and pedestrian infrastructure along Altán Road; 7. The provision of new active travel cycle and pedestrian access from Millers Lane; 8. Provision of site landscaping, wall mounted signage, public lighting, bike parking (89 no. Spaces), car parking (75 no. Spaces), bus parking (2 no. Spaces), 1 no. ESB Substation, 1 no. LV Switch room, ground mounted solar PV (250 sq. m) and all associated site development and site enabling works. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
