Permission for development which consists of: “Retention permission for the development of a 24-hours opening Electric Vehicle (EV) charging hub on lands off the Sandy Road of approximately 0.28 hectares in size. The development includes a total of 18 no. charging bays served by 3 no. DC units, 2 no. dispensers and 4 no. dual AC posts. The development for which permission is sought also includes for branded, non-illuminated signage illustrating ‘Brite Ultra Rapid’ charging located to the front entrance of the site, in addition to signage mounted on the substation at entranceway. Other associated works for which retention permission is sought include the provision of an ESB sub-station (11.5sqm); widening and upgrading of existing vehicular entrance onto Sandy Road, in addition to footpath upgrade works; provision of CCTV cameras and all other ancillary site development, utilities, landscaping, lighting, and boundary works.”
