for the construction of a Soda Ash Storage and Dosing Building at Oughterard Water Treatment Plant, to accommodate chemical storage and dosing facilities; construction of a retaining wall along the northwest and southwest corner of the building; provision of safe and controlled facilities for chemical delivery and unloading, including associated hardstanding and access arrangements within the existing site; all associated site development works above and below ground, including foundations and drainage; existing concrete steps will be demolished to allow construction of a new foundation at the same level as the existing road; existing bushes on the northern side of the site will be removed to allow space for the new shed, ducting, and service trenches; all works to be carried out within the existing operational footprint of Oughterard Water Treatment Plant, with no extension of the site boundary and no change of land use
