For the extension of the operational duration of the existing Kilgarvan Phase II Wind Farm and associated infrastructure (as permitted in Kerry County Council Planning Refs. 07/1605, 07/4364, 03/2508 [ABP Ref: 08.209629], 07/4515, 07/4701) for an additional 15 years from the date of expiry of its current operational duration. The existing renewable energy development comprises: (i) 13 no. existing and operational wind turbines, with a tip height of 125 m and hub height of 80m; (ii) Associated turbine foundations and crane hardstandings; (iii) 8.34 km of existing access tracks; and (iv) Existing, operational site drainage infrastructure and associated infrastructure

(A) RETAIN THE DWELLING HOUSE AS CONSTRUCTED, (B) RETAIN THE DOMESTIC SHED AS CONSTRUCTED, (C) RETAIN THE SITE ENTRANCE, WING WALLS AND ROADSIDE WALLS AS CONSTRUCTED AND (D) RETAIN THE DWELLING HOUSE, DOMESTIC SHED, WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM, SITE ENTRANCE AND WELL WITHIN THE REVISED SITE BOUNDARIES (e) PERMISSION TO DECOMMISSION THE EXISTING SEPTIC TANK SYSTEM AND THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

The development consists of (a) retention planning permission to retain an extension on the Western side of the house and an extension on the Southern side of the house, (b) retention planning permission to retain changes made to the elevations of the house, (c) planning permission to demolish the house extensions on the Western and Southern sides of the house, (d) planning permission to construct extensions on the Eastern, Western and Northern sides of the house and to make changes to the elevations of the house, and (e) planning permission to remove the existing roadside parking arrangement and construct a new site entrance and on site parking and permission for all associated site works to facilitate the development being applied for.
