the construction of 58 No. residential dwellings comprised of 4 No. 4 bed detached houses (Type A and A1); 14 No. 3 bed semi-detached houses (Type B); 10 No. 3 bed terraced houses (Type C and C1); 4 No. 2 bed terraced houses (Type D); 2 No. 1 bed bungalow type houses (Type E); along with 12 No. 3 bed duplex townhouses with 12 No. 2 bed apartments contained in 2 No. duplex/apartment blocks (Type F and F1); together with the creation of a vehicular access and pedestrian entrance off the L1016 (Newtown/Ardclough Road); all ancillary internal access roads, public open space, parking, infrastructure, landscaping, boundary treatments and all associated site and development works. The proposed development also includes the provision of a pedestrian footpath along the L1016 (Newtown/Ardclough Road) for the full frontage of the proposed development, at a site of approximately 1.7ha, Revised by Significant Further Information consisting of; (a) The reduction in the number of units proposed from 58 to 55 through the replacement of a duplex/apartment block (6 no. 3 bed duplex townhouses and 6 no. 2 bed apartments – Type F) with 5 no. 3 bed terraced houses (Type C), 1 no. 3 bed semi-detached house and 3 no. 2 bed apartments (Type G); (b) An increase in the site area of 0.2ha (total 1.9ha) to facilitate works along the L1016 (Newtown/Ardclough Road). These works include the provision of a pedestrian footpath (c.275m in length) and associated lighting along the western side of the L1016 (Newtown/Ardclough Road), from the site towards the Chelmsford Estate; together with the provision of a pedestrian crossing, speed calming measures and signage proximate to the site entrance; (c) Revisions to the site layout to include increases in the depth of rear gardens along the northern boundary of the site; minor amendments to the location, layout and design of Unit Nos. 1, 39-42, 43 and 44, ancillary revisions to the boundary treatments, landscaping works; internal access roads; parking; drainage infrastructure and all associated site and development works.
