a)The construction of two no ground floor, single storey glass extensions with solid roof to existing courtyard area for ancillary use to the hotel. One extension will be located off the existing main function room and the other extension will be located off the existing bar/lounge area (the works involve new ground floor openings in existing structure linking the existing bar and function room to the new extensions) b) Removal of the existing bar in the existing bar/lounge and the demolition of the existing internal walls of the existing adjoining kitchen and keg store (former Sacristy) to allow a new bar area to be constructed to serve the existing bar/lounge area. c) Demolition of internal walls of the ground floor comms room and office space on the ground floor lobby to create an open lobby space. d) Modifications to the existing gents toilets off the main reception to aid works described in item C above. e) Demolition of internal walls of ground floor meeting room 1 to make meeting room 1 larger. f) Installing remotely operated electronic security gates (vehicle and pedestrian gates) and security fence on internal approach road to the hotel g) Install a new remotely operated electronic pedestrian gate to the south east boundary h) Creation of a large wedding suite (by combining existing bedrooms 107 and 108 to create one room) on the first floor with access to a new small enclosed roof garden. i) A new free standing sign to replace the existing vandalised sign. New sign is 5m wide by 4m high and is located at the junction of the public road and the access road to the development and all associated site works.
