The development will consist of a circa 130 metre section of the previously permitted Newbridge South Orbital Relief Road (Kildare County Council Reg. Ref. 02/1373 and 10/45) and will include ancillary landscaping, lighting, attenuation and drainage works, all within a site area of c. 0.38 ha. This section of road will form part of a c. 1.5km carriageway from Great Connell (Connell Drive) to a new roundabout junction with the R445, which is being submitted under a separate concurrent planning application.
