In summary terms, the installation of a trade effluent waste water treatment system and ancillary components and underground, surface water attenuation tank which replaces the attenuation pond granted at the north of the site under Pa Ref: 22/1443 and an enlarged attenuation/infiltration tank as the south for the site. In detail, the treatment system and ancillary equipment and other works consisted of the construction of: • A sludge removal building (circa 8.73m in height and area 124.3sqm) and sludge tank (height circa 8m); • A control building (height circa 4.38m and area 112sqms) and associated and ancillary equipment. • A Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Building (Height circa 5.33m and area 93.8sqm); • Aeration tank and 2 no. clarifiers (The aeration tank has a height of circa 5.5m and the two clarifiers have heights of circa 5.5m); • Balance tank and high strength balance tank (respective heights are circa 8.14m and circa 7.12m); Concrete aprons on the north and north west of the treatment system. The concrete apron to the north west includes ancillary electrical equipment; A surface water, underground, attenuation tank located of the north of the treatment plant and an amendment to the surface water drainage system at the south of the site to include an enlarged, underground, infiltration/attenuation tank and a reduction in the number of swales. Installed Palisade fencing (2.4m in height), along the west and northern boundaries of the site and to the east of the treatment plant as shown on the submitted drawings. This application includes all other ancillary equipment, components, containers and pumps required for the operation of the treatment system and surface water drainage. The development includes permission for additional landscaping around the perimeter of the treatment system on the north and north west boundaries

Current operational hours of the entire facility are 7 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. It is proposed that the hours of operation would increase to 24 hours with the use of shifts. The facility will not be operational on Sundays or Bank holidays. This would apply to both the existing and the above proposed extension. 11. The planning application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report and a Natura Impact Assessment.
