The development will consist of: • A c. 1.58km 33kV cross-country underground cable (UGC) with associated joint bays located within agricultural fields and private lands and a section crossing the L6044 local road. • All ancillary site works The planning application seeks a 10-year planning permission. This development is covered by the provisions of the Renewable Energy Directive III (Directive (EU) 2023/2413) and it is important to note that the planning application may be subject to section 34D of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended.
