An Bord Pleanala made an Order (Ref PL10.247496) to Grant Planning Permission to Mr.Pat Wallace following on a third party appeal against a Decision to Grant Permission (KCC Reg Ref 16/421) for a development consisting of a pair of semi-detached, two storey houses and related site works, services connections, etc. at the south side of the grounds of 'Fanad House' Guesthouse, Bennettsbridge Road, Kilkenny. Take further notice that a planning application (KCC Reg.Ref.18/384) was made by Ms.Frances Wallace and Ms.Sarah Wallace (daughters of Mr.Pat Wallace) for amendments to that permitted development. Their proposed amendments were (a)alterations to the design of the roof so as to provide for habitable accommodation (for additional bedroom (no.4), ensuite shower,wc, linen press,stairs in each house) (b) gable windows (obscure glass) and dormer windows (combined) facing Bennettsbridge Road (c) amendments to the pattern of windows on the front and side elevations (d) canopy over the front doors (e) ground floor only extension to the side and rear of the southern unit and to the rear of the northern unit (f) improvements to the design of the forecourt areas and associated site works. Kilkenny County Council made a Decision to Grant Permission. A third party appeal was made to An Bord Pleanala - which made an Order (Ref.ABP-302425-18) dated the 18th January 2019 to Grant Permission for the proposed amendments. It is the intention of Ms Sarah Wallace and Ms Frances Wallace to proceed with the development of the property in line with the An Bord Pleanala Orders. Further, it is now the intention of Ms.Sarah Wallace to apply for planning permission for a single storey single room extension to the rear and side of the southern unit in the semi-detached pair of houses
