The proposed development will consist of the following: 1. A two-storey biomass boiler house building with internal access mezzanines, sized 1,881 square meters approximately and 17.6 metres high approximately including a boiler stack approximately 21m high all located to the southeast of the existing permitted facility adjacent to Roches Avenue. It is proposed to construct this facility in two phases over five years. 2. It is proposed to relocate a previously permitted generator compound including 2No. generators to the northeast of this proposed biomass boiler house building and to reconfigure and reduce the generator compound. 3. The proposed development also includes the extension of the existing permitted pipe bridge located to the northwest of the biomass boiler house. 4. The proposed development also consists of minor modifications to previously permitted internal roads and footpaths, site lighting, fencing, landscaping and underground drainage system infrastructure. This application will not result in any storm water discharge to the public system. The existing terminal infiltration basin has sufficient capacity to accommodate the additional surface water run off generated by the proposed Biomass Building and associated works.
