Permission is sought by The Sisters of Mercy Western Province for development at the burial Ground at Chapel Street, Swinford, Co. Mayo. The development will consist of an extension to the existing Mercy graveyard to the rear of ‘Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church’. The extension of the graveyard will result in an increased area of approximately 64 m2. Works will include partial demolition of an existing boundary wall to the existing graveyard, the rebuilding of a new boundary wall to match the existing finish and all associated site works.
