To whom it concerns, I am requesting permission for Change of Use of our existing residential garage to convert two thirds of the structure into a Commercial Cattery. The proposed Cattery will have 9 separate rooms along with a Utility and Welcome Area / Reception. The only required changes to the existing building will be to swap out roller doors to install standard windows / doors for access and to allow natural light / air into the building. The footprint / roof structure of the current building will remain as is with the addition of a small external Catio to allow access for the cats outside in a safe and secure space. The Catio will be secured by steel mesh and measure 1.5 deep x 6.5 wide x 2.5m high. Access to the Catio will only be available from inside the building to ensure security. More detailed information has been provided in the application Cover Letter. If any further information is required please contact me and I will provide whatever is necessary as soon as possible.
