The development is to include an 18-bedroom extension, located to the South West of the hotel. Accommodation is split over two floors, with bedrooms, ancillary storage, plant rooms and escape stair. In conjunction, internal alterations, and the repositioning of openings to 2 no. adjoining bedrooms are also proposed. This proposal does not include any works to the protected structure. A change of use is sought to an area of the lower ground floor hotel into staff offices.
