It is proposed to demolish the two storey office element of their existing cash and carry business and to demolish part of the existing single storey building to the rear. Permission is sought to change the use of the ground floor of the existing two storey building from wholesale cash and carry to storage and to build a new two storey building of 4320sq.m where a building of similar size was previously approved but not built. The new building will consist of offices (232sq.m) ground floor wholesale cash and carry (1816sq.m) and first floor storage (2020sq.m). The existing buildings to be retained are ground floor storage (1169sq.m), first floor storage (1083sq.m) and single storey rear store (451sq.m). New docking bays will be provided to the existing building in lieu of the demolished offices.
