The proposed works to Riversdale House (a Protected Structure) will comprise of repair works to existing roofs of the main house, 2 no. wings and chapel, replacement of existing external double door at boiler room entrance, replacement of damaged protective glass to main entrance, repair and restoration of existing decorative ceilings, installation of new flooring and skirting, installation of CCTV throughout the building, repositioning of 1no. door opening on the lower ground floor, removal of 2no. existing ensuite walls and construction of replacement walls on the first floor to accommodate the installation of disabled access ensuite facilities, and modifiactions to internal lift shaft riser wall in the attic to comply with Part B of the Building Regulations.

The proposed works to Riversdale House (a Protected Structure) will comprise of works to facilitate the installation of solar panel heating systems, an air to heat exchange plant system and the installation of pumped cavity wall insulation to the newer elements of the building. The replacement of a replica door with a fire safety compliant door in the TV Room also forms part of the proposed works. The works proposed will be constructed in a manner which will have no effect on the structure of the existing building and will be installed in accordance with manufacturers recommended details. The propsed works are in addition to the works currently being undertaken as per the existing Section 5 Declaration (ED13/0008)
