Proposed Development

Alter the existing Citywest-Saggart double circuit 110kV overhead line. This alteration will involve the construction of two new kV single circuit lattice steel towers in the townland of Saggart. The new towers will have a maximum height of 16.25 metres and a base area of approximately 6 square. The towers will be connected to the existing overhead wires. The line alteration will also involve the removal of existing double circuit 110kV lattice steel towers and approximately 2km of associated overhead line in the townlands of Saggart, Fortunestown, Cookstown Commons and Brownsbarn.
